I was reading yesterday’s Houston Chronicle, and there was an article titled:
Steele draws challenger for GOP chairmanship

Imagine my surprise when I read, among the names being considered to challenge current GOP Chairman, Michael Steele, is former North Dakota GOP Chairman Gary Emineth! Wow! You definitely have my vote :)

So many people are so frightened of terrorism they are willing to give up basic rights in the name of safety. More and more of out individual rights are disappearing in the name of security…an example, homeland security’s input on obtaining a drivers license. Does anyone really believe a terrorist is going to drop in at the local dmv to obtain one? And what is next, micro chip implants? The direction we are heading that would not be a surpise. What this country is becoming is nothing short of a slap in the face to the founding fathers and to all those who have died protecting our freedom.

I rode his coatails into the ND Legislature in the fall of 1980. I served in the House Rep for 5 sessions and 1 session in the Senate.
I made sure I was always folowing Reagan. I’m still doing that today.
